We are doing some commercials that are spoofs of the "I'm a Mac and I'm a PC" commercials.

We need 1 female and 2 male actors.

STORY SYNOPSIS:

Sam scores a great new job, but in the process loses his girlfriend. Meanwhile, Adam falls for a new girl just before he gets fired from his job. Sam and Adam switch places in more ways than one, and neither know it- even when they cross paths at the bar Half Empty.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

DIAMOND RIGGS – 35. White or black. Ruthless. Fast talker quick witted, stern. Drug dealer, loan shark. 

WILLIAM -30. Light skin black. Stocky. Gangsta. Assistant who feels more important than he is.

JILL- 28, manages her sick father LANCE's sport shop. She's young but determined to make the best of her situation. She's in dealings with GREG, her godfather, to merge their two companies into one. In the process, her tired relationship with SAM ends when she meets ADAM.

GREG- 45, owns the sports company ADAM/SAM work at. Scheming and quick witted, he fires ADAM and hires SAM (as a favor to Jill) when he realizes ADAM knows too much about his sketchy dealings. He has two main goals in the story: 1. Convince Jill to merge her father's company with his, and 2. Convince Jill to sleep with him.

JOEL MOSCA- 50, runs the rental storage facility where ADAM works and where SAM previously worked. Friendly and laid back, he's more of a friend than a boss. SAM and ADAM both get life advice from him on a regular basis.

JAY- 30, ADAM's best friend and SAM's new co-worker. JAY does enough to get by, but doesn't swing for the fence. Laid back and an excellent wing man, JAY makes a good best friend to ADAM.

LANCE- 55, unable to run his company, hands it to his daughter JILL, whom he cares for very much. He wants to make sure she makes the right decisions and is involved with her personal life, from the hospital bed.

TALINTHIA- 40, is the lobby secretary at GREG's office. She is quick to share her opinions about people, and is good at her job. She enjoys chit chatting with ADAM while they're on the clock.

BARISTA- 20, works at the coffee shop close to Greg's office. She's a sweet girl, but not naive enough to fall for ADAM's tricks when he goes into the coffee shop to flirt with her. (PATRICIA SELZNICK)

SECURITY OFFICER- 60, took the night shift at Greg's company so that he could get away from his nagging wife. He doesn't do much, but is called into action when SAM and ADAM plow through the lobby one evening, trying to rip each other's head off.

POLICE OFFICERS- age-?, respond to SECURITY OFFICER'S call about two men causing ruckus.

Looking for kids in the Charlotte area, as I am only able to offer a 20 dollar gas stipend, and food, credit, and copy. I know this is not alot but It will atleast pay for your gas.

I am looking for 5 kids (5-8), that are small in stature. The smaller the better. As this will be about extremely over competitive guy, playing a pickup game against a group of kids.

Casting for a short movie will be held in late September for a small cast.

The working title is CHARLIE CLOVER and the story is of an ex-cop who went to prison for helping his brother and is now under the thumb of his parole officer who forces him into doing dirty deeds.

Roles:
CHARLIE "Clover" GIORDANO: 35-40 white male. The lead role of the ex-cop isolated from his old life of friends and his work as the best (and luckiest) Narcotics Detective the city has ever had. Everyone he cared about has disowned him since he went to prison for helping his loser for a brother dodge a loan shark. Now Charlie is a mechanic and is forced by his crooked parole officer into being muscle for his criminal activity. Charlie needs to be tough and brooding and able to show good emotion. There will be fist fights and a shoot-out!

CALLOWAY: 50ish white male. Danny's crooked Parole Officer. He's in the pocket of some powerful crime bosses and has Charlie on a short leash for doing his dirty work. He's a crumpled up "Columbo" looking cigarette smoking alcoholic.

BOBBY SALVATORE: 30s white male. Mafioso in Calloway's crosshairs.

GOOMBAs: Two knuckle draggers that are Bobby's men. Race is not important, but "Italian looking" brutes are what I picture. The Goombas don't have to be muscle-bound, but must look tough. Black leather coats or shaved heads, goatees or tatoos! They have few lines.

LIZZY: 25-30 white female. She's a barkeep that tries to help Danny. She's not involved, but like a good bartender, she knows what's going on.

BLACK: 30-40 black male. Danny's ex-partner. Black is still a cop who is getting out from the stigma of having Danny as a partner. He debates his willingness to help Danny now. ***THIS ROLE HAS BEEN CAST***

CARLO "The Cricket" RUSSO: 50ish white male. He's "Mr. Big" and if its criminal he's got his hands in it! His sophistication clashes with the thuggish and common look of the other characters. His expensive suit conceals his black heart.

May need a few more Goombas who are The Cricket's men.

This is a "Noir" type short and must be well acted. Think "THE BRICK." There will be no or very minor profanity in the dialog and exact recitation of the lines will not be necessary. Improv to an extent will be encouraged.

The script is almost complete and other characters may be needed. The shoot will be broken up over several weekends through October/November. A few exterior night shoots will be involved. All action will be shot and performed in a SAFE manner!

CASTING: PSA

HighFall productions will be casting an Industrial for IPMA-HR. This is a recruiting tool for Police Departments that will be used throughout the U.S. The project will be shot in Wilmington and we will be shooting for up to 7 days in late September or early October. Auditions will be the last week of August, date TBD. We are in pre production and due to the number of roles to be cast, we must begin receiving resumes now.

The entire project will be approximately 80 minutes in length, about 65 different short scenarios. We will use a variety of talent, some will have multiple roles, but we are trying to limit seeing any one person in too many varied roles. Most will be very short scenes 1 minute max and require talent to be on set for 2 hours or less. Nearly all are speaking parts. Compensation for featured and principal roles will depend upon role and number of scenes. Because of the pay, we are looking for local talent, as no travel or lodging is to be paid.

We will also need a number of extras each day. Credit and clips will be provided to extras. Food and fun will be supplied. Extras from all ages and walks of life.

Principal Actor Breakdowns:

Officer Johnson – 23 scenes, speaking role. Partner of subject. 30 year old corporal on the police force. Fit and capable, he is a training officer type, typically by the book kind of guy. Total compensation for this role is $400 and must be available all 7 days.

Officer Peterson – 9 scenes, speaking role. Typical Bad Cop used in a number of roles. Has been on the force for a while and has a creepy presence. Total compensation is $200 and must be available all 7 days. Will not shoot all 7 days but availability is a must.

Featured Roles: We have over 60 different “roles” throughout the shoot. Some talent will only be used for one, some for multiple roles. Featured Roles will range the spectrum, from young child (8-10) years old to seniors. Some will be concerned citizens, suspects, teens at a party, bikers (2 men/2 women), abuse victims, rape victims, drunks, husbands, wives, crazy people, fighters, punk teens, picketers, street cops, detectives, crime scene techs, sergeants, paramedics, etc. Think of what you have seen on “Cops” and you know what we need. Pay will depend upon role(s), number of scenes and days used.

Seeking SNL/MadTV wannabe's for Online YouTube/Google Video Comedy Show
 
Forming an online comedy troop to make short clips which will be written, directed, acted, and performed by the same group. Group will have recurring characters, themes, and may change in size over time. Kevin: African/American Male mid 20's to early 30's. Very sharp & good looking.
 
Seth: Caucasian Male mid 20's to early 30's. Artistic & intellectual. Must be able to perform in a British dialect.
 
Hung: Asian Male early 20's to early 30's. Very absorbed by his work. He is pretty much "fresh off the boat" & his speech gives it away.
 
Barry: Caucasian Male early to late 20's. Sloppy little guy who isn't so bright. He is the office punching bag.
 
Emily: Caucasian Female early to mid 20's. Very attractive girl. She is fresh out of college & is interviewing for a position at an architectural firm
 
Mr. Davenport: Any ethnicity 40's to 50's. Very mild mannered man. President of an architectural firm.
 
Mary: Caucasian Female early to mid 20's. Very attractive girl. She is also interviewing for a position at an architectural firm.
 
Ruth: Caucasian female late 30's to 50's. Butch lesbian.

CHARACTERS

Candice- Late 20's attractive. Candice is a painter. As an artist she has taken more interest in her subjects and their lives than her own. She has a unique world view and imagines herself as an extrovert, but nothing could be further from the truth. Most of her interactions with the "outside world" are in her head and most of her actual focus is on her work.

Joy- Early 30's, confident. A proud lesbian and college chum of Candice. Also an artist Joy primarily works as a sculptor and is very gregarious and at times even a bit overbearing. This is all on the surface as deep down Joy is very vulnerable and sensitive.

Blake- Early 30's attractive charmer. Candice's "idea" of perfection. Blake is a mystery and indulges Candice's quirks. There is very little known about Blake other than he is interested in Candice and seems kind and respectful of others.

Pristeen- Early 30's transgender, feminine. Pristeen is "the peacock" vibrant, full of life and color. She acts as a kind of guide for Candice. She is very strong and confident, two traits Candice hopes to learn from her.

Apple- Mid 60's street person, independent. Apple is stubborn and tough on the surface but secretly craves stability. She is attracted to Poppy but her years on the street has taught her to remain guarded, a trait she also exhibits in her relationship with Candice. Candice cares for her and brings her lunches which Apple appreciates more than she would ever let Candice know.

Poppy- Late 70's Jewish, hopeful. Poppy is the superintendent in the building that Candice lives in. He has a lot of energy for his age especially in matters that concern Apple. He has been trying to be with Apple for years although she's been reluctant. Poppy is a WWII veteran and a widower, never re-marrying after the death of his wife. Candice truly trusts and respects him and will do anything to play match maker for Poppy and Apple.

Sister Mary- Mid 30's Nun, Spiritual. Sister Mary represents some possibly untapped spirituality in Candice. She is patient and loving. She acts as a guide for Joy understanding how to parallel teachings from the church into real life environments and using them in a way that they have meaning. She does not condescend or act in a way that would be considered "preachcy".

Brando- 30's Photographer, conflict. Brando is a hip, somewhat trendy guy with a great job, and he knows it. He's mysteriously present at much of Candice's conflict. While slightly mischievous, he is very well liked, especially by Candice. Brando and Candice did not work out like many of Brando's relationships, but they maintain a friendship which is sometimes a frustration point for Candice.

Neal -- mid 20's jock type,. Neal works in the local grocery store which is how he know's Candice. He seems to have a secret crush on her. Neal is homophobic which causes some problems at Candice's "alternative lifestyle friendly" party but after some outbursts makes friends anyways. Not necessarily a bad person, perhaps a bit uneducated and unworldly.

Petra- Early 20's model, beautiful. Petra is everything a model should be. She works with Brando and is attracted to him even though she is currently in a relationship with Joy. She rarely lets us see anything outside her exterior and what the camera sees.
